I am currently serving on staff at the School of Biblical Studies (SBS) at Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Amsterdam. The SBS is a nine-month program in which students study through the entirety of the Bible using the Inductive Bible Study method. Using this method, we seek to understand the context and historical background to properly observe, interpret, and apply what we have learned to our lives.

Co-leading this school comes with several responsibilities, some practical, and some more focused on growth and development. My responsibilities include teaching different books of the Bible, organizing practical work, caring for staff, and overseeing students as they study through each book. As a school, we focus on discipleship through studying the Word in community. We trust that the Bible is the foundation of our faith, so we want it to deepen our understanding of God’s character and allow the Holy Spirit to transform our lives. Ultimately, our hope is that students are equipped to bring God’s Word to society and the nations.
